The best has just gotten better.

The AER AcousticCube 3 Guitar Amp is an amazing feat in a small box like this. For more than 10 years this little giant has set standards and AER have done their best to push the limits further and further.

In its 3rd generation now, AER have implemented advanced dynamic control technology and have extended the dynamic range substantially. The two-way speaker system is an incredible improvement. It allows a much clearer and defined bass response and much lighter, more vivid reproduction of the complete range up to finest texture.

The Cube 3 amplifier is a full two-channel version now allowing identical features on both channels. It needed a face-lift for more operational clarity and to allow additional important controls on the front panel.

In essence AER has combined all the suggestions of Cube enthusiasts over the years with all their knowledge and experience without compromise and are now pleased with version 3's improvements to sound, dynamics, presence, and natural sound. Not to mention the features.

Tone Control:
The AcoustiCube 3 amp's three band tone controls are active and constructed to fulfill the specific requirements of both acoustic instruments and other sources. The color switches activate a mid-cut-treble-boost-filter that especially suits finger picking.

AER DSP 4 Digital Effect internal effect The AcoustiCube 3 has a built-in (internal) digital 32bit AER-effect processor. With the effect program endless-encoder you can choose between 100 (0-99) effect programs (factory settings: chapter 6). The number of the chosen effect can be seen in the two-digit display. The direction in which you turn the control does not matter.

You can connect your AER AcoustiCube with a computer via USB-cable, change the effect program parameters that suit your requirements, make combinations and store them under a new name. Two of the 100 effects can be stored and recalled via the AER footswitch. You can select an effect and by pressing the program-encoder on your AcoustiCube amp, this effect is stored.

Small, smart, and surprisingly loud.

The AER Alpha is a compact combo amp for acoustic instruments. It has one channel with 2 individual inputs that allow parallel use of instrument and microphone, even though the instrument is the main focus. Inputs each have their own gain knob. Birch plywood cabinet provides great tone projection and is road tough. Dynamic controlled 40 Watts RMS and the 8" twin-cone speaker system give perfect performance at all sound pressure levels. On board reverb, external effects loop and headphone out.

The Alpha amplifier defines the starting point of serious acoustic amplification at AER. Based on the success and the experience with the Compact 60 they have developed an even smaller, lightweight model that has no difficulties living up to the rigors of the road. Amazingly reduced, without losing what is essential for superb performance - the Alpha is a full size member of the AER product family. Open sounding and quick in response, this guitar amp masters different ranges and is not afraid of bigger instruments.

Effects
The AER Alpha has an integrated (internal) digital reverb effect on board. The return control determines the intensity of the effect (as far to the left as possible means no effect). Furthermore, a supplementary effect device can be connected (external effect). For this purpose, use the sockets send and return at the rear of Alpha to connect the external device (send to the input, return from the output of the external effect). The intensity will then be set by the controls of external effect device. A standard double foot switch can be connected to the footswitch socket on the rear of the amp with a stereo cable. This switch can be used to turn the internal and external effects on and off.

The range and power to amplify acoustic guitars and basses right.

The Basic Performer Acoustic Guitar Amp with its specially designed construction and its 4 x 60 watt power is an ideal tool for acoustic and electric bass-amplification. More than that, it suits very well for all instruments with strength in the low register, e.g.: cello, harp etc. Apart from its two channels with three-band tone- control and mute-switch it offers a compressor and a notch filter.

Long scale lengths, huge body sizes, and resonance problems are only some trouble zones of the acoustic instrument. The small twin-cone system is perfect - it is fast, provides a superior coverage for the critical mid-range and has got enough substance in the bass range. The AER Basic Performer has four 8"-twin-cone speakers which are individually powered by four 60W power amps provide for the required surface area and the necessary sound pressure level.

The special AER band-pass / bass-reflex cabinet design supports the reproduction of even the lowest frequencies with definition. Hi-end preamps, proper filters and additional professional sound design make the Basic Performer amplifier a multitalented all-round solution.

The sound characteristics of this AER amp are full range, open and light - breathing as well as grumbling and surprisingly appropriate for far more instruments than the bass-related instruments such as harp, cello, accordion or even try a jazz guitar.

The AER Compact 60 has two channels that make it possible to operate a microphone and an instrument independently of each other. The dynamically controlled power amplifier and the broad-spectrum loudspeaker system guarantee distortion-free reproduction even at high volumes.

The Compact 60 guitar amp was developed after and based on the Acousticube, and it helped substantially to break out of the boutique corner. AER were able to prove to a bigger and increasingly more interested public that an all-round, small, powerful and yet simple complete solution for stage, studio and home use does exist and that it works up to the highest demands and standards.

Known as Bingo or Compact 60, it has found many friends around the world with its size - smiled at in the beginning - being its second strongest side. Tried out during live performance it has become standard equipment of musicians who value sound, simplicity and independence.

This system, with its 8"-twin-cone speaker-system, 60 watts of power and fully developed dynamic control within the models small dimensions has not only found much appreciation but has also become the basis for a whole line of step by step, developed and refined AER acoustic amplification systems.

Level control:
You can use the High/Low switch and the Gain control to adjust the various pick-up systems and signal sources to AER Compact 60 amp. The clip indicator shows that the input signal is too high.

Tone controls:
The three and two band tone controls of your Compact 60 are designed to fulfill the special requirements of acoustic instruments and the general demands of other sources. The Color switch in Channel 1 activates a mid-cut treble-boost filter that is particularly appropriate for fingerstyle techniques.

Effects:
The Compact 60 has an integrated (internal) digital effect permitting you to choose between four effects by using the select push button. The select button allows you to choose between the four build-in-effects. They are indicated by the LEDs between the return and master controls. Pos. 1 is a warm hall reverb, pos. 2 is a bright hall reverb, pos. 3 is a chorus with reverb and pos. 4 is a flanger.

The Return knob determines the intensity of the effect (as far to the left as possible means no effect). Furthermore, a supplementary effect device can be connected (external effect). For this purpose, use the sockets at the rear of Compact 60 Send and Return (send to the input, return from the output of the external effect). The intensity will then be set by the external effect device. Using the Effect-Pan control, you can mix continuously variable effect portions into the channels.

A combo amp ideally suited to classical instruments and styles.

The Compact Classic Pro amplifier is for classical players and their instruments. Based on the Compact 60 power amp, the Compact Classic Pro benefits from an improved 2-way-speaker system, a more complex 3-band EQ with parametric bass and the use of the AER 32-bit effects-processor with carefully designed presets for classical instruments.

All features of the AER Compact Classic Pro combine nicely to accurately reproduce the finer tonal texture of a classical instrument throughout the full audio band, enhance the low frequency response without increasing the feedback risk and create beautiful ambiance that supports the tone.

Having an acoustic guitar amp with one simple single setting is nice, but it really doesn't work, especially for more demanding classical instruments. For the right sound, it takes a little work, learning how to dial it in. AER believes that giving you a wide variety of settings will pay off in the end.

One channel - two individual inputs allow parallel use with any kind of pickup and microphone and allow two sound sources with the instrument. Dynamic controlled 60-Watts RMS and the 8" twin-cone tweeter speaker system give perfect performance at all sound pressure levels.

High-quality acoustic sound in an amp you can play anywhere.

The Compact Mobile acoustic guitar amp was developed to give musicians a system for acoustic instruments which provides AER sound and quality everywhere, independent of AC power. Based on the Compact 60, and identical in sound, but with adapted technology and slightly changed dimensions, you can play without AC power for three to four hours whether you chose to play in the old town or on a glacier. The sound is clear and omnipresent.

Get used to people turning their heads. In case of insufficient battery power, the Compact Mobile's intelligent power control gives a warning and thus saves you from lack of power during performance. It also prevents the batteries from being completely exhausted. Besides the features of the Compact 60, the Compact Mobile has got an AUX input that can be used to mix a battery-powered CD player to the sound.
