If you're looking for the perfect marriage of classic, vintage rock tones with modern feature and levels of gain, your search is over!

This half stack includes the Marshall Vintage Modern 2266 Tube Amp Head and Marshall Vintage Modern 425A or 425B 4x12 Extension Speaker Cabinet.

Marshall Vintage Modern 2266 Tube Amplifier Head
The Marshall Vintage Modern 2266 50 Watt Head is an all-valve single channel amplifier with a choice of two dynamic ranges selectable by footswitch. The Low range equates to the performance you would come to expect from a stock vintage Marshall amplifier in terms of tone and available gain. The High range adds an extra preamp valve into the signal path, facilitating those classic hard rock tones of the seventies. Add to this the ability to dynamically interface with your instrument's Volume and Tone controls and the experience translates into a truly expressive and organic feel in performance.

Two frequency selective Pre-amp Volumes (Gains) - Body and Detail - facilitate greater flexibility in tone shaping for individual guitars and styles while the power amplifier is heavily influenced by the first Marshall amplifiers to be produced, with two KT66 output valves yielding that substantial, fat and smooth tone. A MID Boost switch on the front panel fattens the tone even more while a traditional Marshall tone control circuit enables fine tuning of your sound.

A master volume has been included in order to practically manage the output levels at all venues. This is implemented after the phase splitter in order to fully exploit maximum preamp drive when the master is turned down low. A reverb level control mixes the on board plate reverb with the direct signal to whatever degree the player chooses. The reverb can be toggled on and off via the footswitch.

Finally, a series FX loop is provided for those players who wish to use outboard effect to further enhance their sound. Loop levels of 10dB and +4dB can be controlled via a rear panel switch as well as the option to completely bypass this feature if it is not required.

The cosmetics on the Marshall 2266 amp head are also a carefully crafted hybrid of old and new styles made even more dramatic by the deep purple vinyl that covers the entire series.

Marshall Vintage Modern 425A or 425B 4x12 Extension Speaker Cabinet
The Marshall Vintage Modern 425A angled cab and 425B straight guitar speaker extension cabinets are traditional Marshall 4 x 12 speaker cabs in design. These cabs are mono/stereo switchable and are loaded with G12C 25 Watt Celestion Greenbacks. These were specifically developed for the Limited Edition Jimi Hendrix Super100JH stack and are voiced to give that rich and balanced harmonic timbre that complements vintage tone and the Vintage Modern Series perfectly.

The cosmetics on the Marshall speaker cab are also a carefully crafted hybrid of old and new styles made even more dramatic by the deep purple vinyl that covers the entire series.

The High range adds an extra preamp valve into the signal path, facilitating those classic hard rock tones of the seventies. Add to this the ability to dynamically interface with your instrument's Volume and Tone controls and the experience translates into a truly expressive and organic feel in performance.

Two frequency selective Pre-amp Volumes (Gains) - Body and Detail - facilitate greater flexibility in tone shaping for individual guitars and styles while the power amplifier is heavily influenced by the first Marshall amplifiers to be produced, with four KT66 output valves yielding that substantial, fat and smooth tone.

Finally, a series FX loop is provided for those players who wish to use outboard effects to further enhance their sound. Loop levels of 10dB and +4dB can be controlled via a rear panel switch as well as the option to completely bypass this feature if it is not required.

The cosmetics are also a carefully crafted hybrid of old and new styles made even more dramatic by the deep purple vinyl that covers the entire series.

Big Zakk Wylde Marshall tone in a compact package.

There's nothing micro about Zakk Wylde, but even Zakk doesn't always haul his full-sized Marshall everywhere he goes - like backstage to warm up. This 15W head and 2 cabs each with a 10" speaker create a stack that is only 15"W x 37"H x 9"D, but the Marshall MG15MSZW Microstack puts out a tone that's far from miniature. The head has all the standard MG features: control for clean volume; overdrive gain and volume; reverb level; and 3-way EQ with bass, treble, and a contour that lets you fine-tune the mids. It also boasts a CD input, an emulated line out, and a headphone jack that mutes the speakers.

Conceived by Dr. Jim Marshall after he and Zakk had shared a few whiskeys, this Zakk Wylde version of the Microstack sports salt & pepper grille cloth and a custom Zakk control panel with the famous bullseye pattern.

Marshall Zakk Wylde MG15MSZW Limited Edition Micro Stack Features:

  • 15W head
  • Angled & straight 1x10" cabinets
  • Replicates the exact look of Zakk's legendary "Wall of Doom
  • 2 channels - clean and "crushing" overdrive
  • Spring Reverb
  • Bass, treble, and contour EQ controls
  • CD/MP3 input
  • Emulated line out
  • Headphone jack with speaker muting
  • Zakk Wylde Bullseye control panel
  • Salt & Pepper grille cloth

Marshall Zakk Wylde MG15MSZW Limited Edition Micro Stack Includes:

  • Signature picks and poster
