Vintage rock tones with modern features and high gain!

The Marshall Vintage Modern 2466 Half-Stack includes the Vintage Modern 2466 Tube Amp Head and Vintage Modern 425A angled speaker enclosure.

The Marshall Vintage Modern 2466 Tube Amp Head is an all-valve amplifier with a choice of two dynamic ranges selectable by footswitch. The Low range delivers the performance you would expect from a stock vintage Marshall amplifier in terms of tone and available gain. The High range adds an extra preamp valve into the signal path, facilitating those classic hard rock tones of the seventies. Add to this the ability to dynamically interface with your instrument's Volume and Tone controls and the experience translates into a truly expressive and organic feel in performance.

Two frequency selective Pre-amp Volumes (Gains) - Body and Detail - facilitate greater flexibility in tone shaping for individual guitars and styles while the power amplifier is heavily influenced by the first Marshall amplifiers to be produced, with four KT66 output valves yielding that substantial, fat and smooth tone. A MID Boost switch on the front panel fattens the tone even more while a traditional Marshall tone control circuit enables fine tuning of your sound.

A master volume has been included in order to practically manage the output levels at all venues. This is implemented after the phase splitter in order to fully exploit maximum preamp drive when the master is turned down low. A reverb level control mixes the on board plate reverb with the direct signal to whatever degree the player chooses. The reverb can be toggled on and off via the footswitch.

Finally, a series FX loop is provided for those players who wish to use outboard effects to further enhance their sound. Loop levels of 10dB and +4dB can be controlled via a rear panel switch as well as the option to completely bypass this feature if it is not required.

The cosmetics are also a carefully crafted hybrid of old and new styles made even more dramatic by the deep purple vinyl that covers the entire series.

The Marshall Vintage Modern 425A angled speaker cab is a traditional Marshall 4 x 12 speaker cabinet in design. Mono/stereo switchable and loaded with G12C 25 Watt Celestion Greenbacks, this was specifically developed for the Limited Edition Jimi Hendrix Super100JH stack and are voiced to give that rich and balanced harmonic timbre that complements vintage tone and the Vintage Modern Series perfectly.

The cosmetics are also a carefully crafted hybrid of old and new styles made even more dramatic by the deep purple vinyl that covers the entire series.

Are you tough enough for Kerry King's Slayer rig?

All hail the King, Kerry King that is. This Marshall amp and cabinet package is for those who love to shred. Pairing the 2203 Kerry King Signature JCM800 Guitar Amp Head with the 1960A or 1960B 300W 4 x12 Guitar Extension Cabinet you'll be able to achieve the same intense crunch as Slayer's formidable axeman, at a price that won't have you selling your soul. Unless you want to of course.

2203KK Kerry King Signature JCM800 Guitar Amp Head
The all-valve Kerry King Signature JCM800 2203KK is the essence of simplicity-a single-channel tube amp with no reverb or effects. It's easy control panel, distinctive roar, and larger than life edge has set the standard by which many rock amps are judged.

This Kerry King model features a switchable Kerry King signature sound section called "The Beast" that has two adjustable controls-"Assault" & "Gate." "Assault" intensity controls the extent of Kerry's signature EQ boost, and "Gate" is an adjustable, studio-quality, ultra-fast noise reduction unit. You'll still find a Series Effects Loop with true bypass that takes the loop completely out of the circuit, ensuring the original tone isn't compromised in any shape or form. The 3-band EQ gives you plenty of control, but the base tone of this amp is patterned after the reverse-shape EQ setting used by Kerry himself! Eye-catching tribal graphics blaze from the front panel and baffle. Jim Marshall and Kerry King's signature's on the control panel identify its pedigree.

1960A or 1960B 300W 4x12 Guitar Extension Cabinet

The 3-band EQ gives you plenty of control, but the base tone of this amp is patterned after the reverse-shape EQ setting used by Kerry himself! Eye-catching tribal graphics blaze from the front panel and baffle. Jim Marshall and Kerry King's signature's on the control panel identify its pedigree.

One of the nicest surprises: Marshall has added functionality to the amplifier, while lowering the price!

The amp that started it all!

This half stack includes the Marshall JTM45 Amp Head and Marshall 1960AX or 1960BX 100W 4x12 Guitar Extension Cabinet.

Marshall JTM45 Amplifier Head
The Marshall JTM45 Amp Head is a lovingly created reproduction of Jim Marshall's first amplifier. Now the classic JTM45 is accessible to all who enjoy its glassy, clean tone and fluid, warm sustain.

By including GZ34 valve rectification, as found in the original, Marshall has ensured a faithful recreation of the JTM45's glorious sound. The GZ34 rectifier valve interacts with the rest of the valves causing subtle harmonics to shift and smolder beneath every note you play.

Marshall 1960AX or 1960BX 100W 4x12 Guitar Extension Cabinet
The Marshall 1960X consists of 4 separate birch ply speaker enclosures, each loaded with a Celestion G12M Greenback 12" speaker and has a 100W power handling rating. Tonally this speaker cabinet falls between the 1960A's brightness and the 1960TV's warmth. Greenback G12M speakers have a very distinctive sound with a fast, snappy response that adds detail and dynamics to both clean and distorted playing. The 1960X Extension Speaker Cabinet uses the early '70s LC checkered grille cloth and a less-textured vinyl covering. If used as a half stack with a 100W head, a power brake is recommended.

Marshall JTM45 and 1960AX or 1960BX Half Stack Features:

  • Marshall JTM45 Amp Head
  • 30W head
  • Clean tone
  • Warm sustain
  • Classic design
  • Output (RMS): 30 watts

Marshall JTM45 Amp Head
A lovingly created reproduction of Jim Marshall's first amplifier.

Marshall 1960TV Cabinet
Has an angled front; four 12" Greenback speakers; and a warmer, thicker sound than the 1960A. This 100W, mono, 16-ohm cabinet is 3 inches taller than a standard 1960A 4x12 cabinet which results in well defined mid range and a lowered resonant frequency for more prominent lows. The 25W Greenbacks are less in your face than the 75W Celestions in the 1960A. Although not a reissue-it was never offered in the past-this cab recreates the classic look and tones of yesteryear.

More channels, more gain, more versatility.

There's nothing to lose and a lot of gain with this Marshall JVM410H Tube Amp Head and 1936 2 x 12 Half Stack kit, a foot-stomping deal if there ever was one.

JVM410H Tube Amp Head
In a nutshell, the Marshall all-valve, 4-channel JVM410H 100-Watt tube head is the most versatile Marshall amplifier ever made. It also boasts more gain than any other Marshall to date-and that's really saying something!

Each of its 4 channels Clean, Crunch, OD1 & OD2 are not only completely independent of each other, they all boast 3 Modes, all 12 of which are footswitchable and feature their own unique gain structure. It makes the JVM 4-channel effectively 12 Marshall amps in one!

The JVM410H has studio-quality digital reverb with a level control for each channel. This is also footswitchable, as are the amp's two Master Volume controls and the Series/Parallel effects loop. Resonance and Presence are equipped with master controls.

Even though the head and combo both house 28 controls and 8 LED switches on their front panels, they're incredibly simple to understand because of the extremely logical layout. Each of the 4 channels has the usual suspects when it comes to controls Volume, Bass, Middle, Treble & Gain-accounting for 20 of the 28 controls right away. Take away the 4 reverb controls and you're only left with 4 Master controls-2 Master Volumes plus Resonance & Presence.

Add to this an ingenious footswitch (UK patent pending) and the fact all the amp's switching (channel/modes, Reverb, Master Volume selection, FX loop) can be done via MIDI and you're looking at an incredibly flexible amp! The 6-way footswitch boasts 7 LEDs and memory, plus it connects to the amp via a regular guitar cable.

From the cleanest clean to the filthiest distortion ever found in a Marshall and all points in-between, the JVM410H all-valve amp head will give you whatever tone you need right when you need it.

1936 2x12 Cabinet
The Marshall 1936 2x12 Cabinet has two 12" Celestion G12T75 speakers to handle 150W. Size matches full-size Marshall heads. Offers mono or stereo option (eight ohms mono; sixteen ohms stereo). Marshall constructs the 1936 Speaker Cabinet with locking joints; smooth ABS plastic corners; and heavy-duty, ergonomically recessed grab handles.

  • JVM410H Tube Amp Head
  • 100-Watt valve head
  • Valve complement: 5 x ECC83 (12AX7s) in preamp, 2 x EL34s in power amp
