Experience the clarity, chime, and jangle of a fully hollowbody thinline electric with P-90 pickups.

The Gibson Custom ES-330L is a hollowbody electric guitar with stunning acoustic character that provides performers and songwriters with a very inspiring musical tool. The artisans at the Gibson Custom Shop have created an ES-330 guitar that is not a reissue, yet it has all the highly-desirable attributes of the original 1959 ES-330, such as period-correct 17° angled headstock, and black plastic pickup covers. Added to those are superior enhancements including a long neck profile, premium tulip button tuners, and a vintage period-correct 1-11/16" nut made from Corian that provides superior strength, durability, and musical sustain.

Introduced in 1959, the Gibson ES-330 was a revolution in the field of hollowbody electric guitars with its unique laminate top and back, top bracing, neck block, and tenon. The ES-330L has the same great pairing of features—dog-ear P90 pickups and hollowbody construction—as the Epiphone Casino guitars used by The Beatles to provide punch on recordings such as "Taxman" and "Paperback Writer," and most of the electric guitar tracks on Sgt. Pepper.

Full hollowbody
The Gibson ES-330L incorporates the finest features including single-ply binding on the neck, small pearloid block inlays, long tenon neck joint, and nickel hardware. The ES-330L Long-Neck's body is truly hollow and has no center block, making it a lightweight, comfortable, and uniquely resonant guitar. Without a maple center block the ES-330L is free to vibrate acoustically and the weight reduction is substantial. The Gibson ES-330L guitar features the preferred one-piece mahogany neck for supreme resonance that has inspired both players and songwriters.

P-90 tone
ES hollowbody signature tone is maintained, regardless of volume control setting, through the special control wiring scheme known today as the Memphis Tone Circuit. It allows a wide array of tonal variations from what many consider to be the best pickup ever designed—the P-90. The ES-330L guitar features P-90 pickups in both the bridge and neck positions with independent volume and tone controls for each pickup. A 3-way pickup selector switch allows you to choose either pickup independently or both pickups combined.

Musical feedback
More acoustic in nature than most electric guitars, the ES-330L provides a balanced voice with more power than other hollowbody guitars. The sum and difference of the top and back (not to mention rims) create a vibratory explosion of acoustical energy with an awesome midrange that exhibits a sweet spot at every fret. This results in its ability to produce musical feedback. The ES-330L starts feeding back at a lower volume threshold and delivers a wider dynamic range of musical feedback. Controlled feedback is musical and adds to the player's creative arsenal. With the ES-330L guitar, players need only pivot their stance a bit to get in the zone. Infinite sustain is yours at just the turn of your torso with overtones, undertones, howls, and shrieks at your beck-and-call. Because the ES-330L guitar starts feeding back at a lower volume threshold further from the source, you actually have a lot more control over the feedback.

Neck design
The 1-piece Honduran mahogany neck has a long, narrow tenon for extra strength and resonance and the 30/60 neck is slimmer than a '59 rounded profile and ever-so-slightly larger than a '60 slim-tapered, making it comfortable for any guitarist. The large 1-11/16" nut width means you'll have plenty of fingerboard real estate to peel off your favorite riffs. The new ES-330L guitar combines the best of vintage ES-330 models with a 17° pitched peghead from the 50s model and a neck join at the 19th fret from the 60s model for easier access to the upper frets. The pitched peghead supplies increased downward string pressure after the nut, insuring brilliant tone, increased sustain and tuning stability.

Other features such as the pickup riser for the bridge pickup (normally offered only on more expensive models such as '50s L5 CES, ES-5, Byrdland etc.) which moves the pickup closer to the strings for a more robust performance, increase tone and output.
The Gibson ES-330L is the electric guitar for the truly musical guitarist, songwriter, and musical explorer. When pursuing a musical road less traveled, the ES-330L travels it well!

A fabulous classic archtop almost anybody can afford!

The Gibson Custom Shop ES-175 Electric Guitar brings back one of the world's most beloved instruments, this time with a unique set of pickups. For the first time, you get all the luxurious features of the ES-175 with single coil P-90 pickups. Play the hollowbody beauty with the P-90 power and bite you love.

In 1949 Gibson introduced the ES-175 to enduring and well-deserved acclaim. Since it was primarily an electric guitar, it didn't need the very large dimensions of a classic archtop, but it still benefited from the full hollowbodied resonance of an archtop design enhanced by Gibson's fabulous new humbuckers.

This version has the same sumptuous vintage vibe of the original, including a careful sunburst finish, split parallelogram fretboard inlays on a bound rosewood fretboard, rosewood bridge base, gold tophat knobs, and deco trapeze tailpiece.

Gibson Custom ES-175 Electric Guitar with P-90 Pickups Specifications:

A lefty version of one of the world's greatest guitars.

Hi, it's me, your friendly copywriter. I'm left-handed, just like you. You may never have thought about it, but every guitar you read about at our site has to have copy written by a real person, such as me. I've decided to come out from behind my veil to tell you about this Gibson ES-335 Dot Lefty Electric Guitar with Satin Finish. Why? Because I think the 335 Dot is the finest production electric guitar in the world. I ordered a 335 here to review and loved it so much I couldn't send it back to the warehouse. I bought it and it's now the prize of my collection-the best guitar I've ever played.

Laminated maple top, sides, and back come together with a set mahogany neck and solid center block to produce an open tone that's sparkling when distorted, rich and airy for rhythm playing, and extremely substantial for jazz tones. Of course the '57 classic humbuckers have a lot to do with that great tone, and the light satin finish seems to let the top vibrate more freely. The rosewood fretboard encases the fret ends for an incomparably smooth feel.

Gibson Custom ES-335 Dot Lefty Electric Guitar with Satin Finish Features:

The Gibson ES-339 Figured features a beautiful figured maple body in two finishes, vintage sunburst and cherry. In addition this guitar gives you all of the great features of the ES-339

As with the ES-339, this figured version goes where no guitar has gone before with a bold, new semi-hollow tone that is rich with expressive, even stinging, overtones. The ES-339 figured has some exciting enhancements including Memphis Tone electronics, the 30/60 slender neck profile, and reduced dimensions and weight.

Memphis Tone electronics
Memphis Tone circuitry uses 500K audio taper pots that operate with an interactive load that preserves high end as you turn down the volume. The loading effect preserves the full-bodied tone with rich midrange and singing sustain from the '57 Classic humbuckers while adding a very sweet bite. Another difference: the volume is very smooth, rolling off in even increments along with the numbers on the knobs. Since they operate more like how we hear (logarithmically), the controls work the way the player thinks they should. So when you turn down the volume, the highs are still there!

30/60 Neck
Developed in assistance from guitar guru Jon Schwartz, the 30/60 slender neck is a '60s style neck with an extra .030" front-to-back to preserve the semi-hollowbody tone, sustain, and feel while providing smooth playability.

Reduced dimensions and weight
The ES-339 Figured builds on the success of the semi-hollowbody guitars first introduced by Gibson in 1958 with the ES-335. Lighter and more compact than a traditional semi-hollow guitar, the ES-339 Figured retains the distinct semi-hollowbody electric tone that powered so many hit records and landmark performances.

Outer rim output jack
Here's one ES players have been wanting: The output jack is mounted on the outer rim. No more cable crossing the body, spoiling the guitar's clean looks and getting in your way.

Two '57 Classic Humbuckers with 3-way pickup selection plus individual volume and tone controls provide the incredibly versatile sounds that make the semi-hollow electric famous for its use in jazz, rock, blues, country, and nearly every other style you can think of. Quality Kluson tuners keep retuning time to a minimum, and nickel hardware enhances the great looks.

To show off its vintage vibe, the ES-339 is available in a choice of two finishes: Cherry and Vintage Sunburst. The lacquer finish is applied with a light, even touch, allowing the guitar's wood to resonate naturally while providing a protective, mirror-like shine. The ES-339 comes with a Gibson Custom Shop hardshell case and a Certificate of Authenticity.
