It was a great little guitar back then and it still is today.

The Les Paul Junior, introduced in 1954, was the economy Les Paul model. With its no-nonsense look, a single P-90 pickup, and a price of $49.50 it was an instant hit. In 1958, Gibson changed the Junior's body shape to a double cutaway.

The 1960 Les Paul Special Double Cutaway is now part of Gibson's Vintage Original Spec series.

Like all VOS (Vintage Original Spec) Series instruments, the 1960 Les Paul Special Double Cutaway VOS is handcrafted for comfort and playability in the Gibson Custom Shop.
