Owner Reviews, Ratings, Comments and Criticism Walked into a music shop last night of course all the usual around, then outta nowehere I notice a 5 String T-Bird. Hmmmm.. & I'm a BC Rich player,
anyway being on the hunt for a 5 string I had to try an Epiphone for once. Especially since in 29 yrs of playing have I seen a 5 String T-Bird.
Plenty of power! You better be after big string spacing if you're lookin at this one!
I used to play with "Origin", Death metal..
Had a great EQ In it with what are stock epiphone humbuckers.I personally love the action, only 20 Frets! But in the end with a 5 string who needs 'em? I don't know what this bass MSRP is but I paid $322.00 for it without a case, feelin like I got my moneys'worth!
Fast bass if you've got mans hands or you'll be reachin' it's no Schechter. (Nothing wrong Schechter) I just preferred the Wide nut spacing, it balances well, plus an unfinished wood here so be ready for more of a Rickenbaker 4001 type sound. DEFINITELY worth whad I paid for it! MF Does it again! These aren't even on E-Bay yet! Cheers!
