Classic design with modern electronics.
The hollowbody Warwick Star II is a re-issue of the classic Framus Star Electric Bass from the mid '50s. Warwick has taken the design of this early bass guitar and upgraded it with modern electronics. You get 2 passive MEC CRB humbucker pickups and electronics which give you a fat and warm sound, while still being studio quiet. Modern manufacturing techniques used on the Warwick Star II Bass produce a hollowbody design that harkens back to the past with a simple, easy to navigate control layout that performs well beyond today's standards. This 21-fret, 34" scale electric bass guitar has a laminated bubinga top and back, with solid bubinga sides, an ovangkol neck, and wenge fingerboard for a mix of beautiful woods worthy of a trophy case.
